GF Strong team members are encouraged to use their discretion in making appropriate referrals based on the circumstances in each case. Financial information is required. WSBC or ICBC patients will not be eligible.
Application forms are to be completed by GF Strong Social Workers with the patient’s consent. A form may be used for up to two adults and one child from the same household. If travellers are coming from different households or if there are more than three travellers, then separate forms should be used.
Once the form is completed it should be returned to BC Rehab at trynka.gogal@bcrehab.org. BC Rehab will review the application and make a booking with Easter Seals House and then inform the beneficiary(ies).
Short Term Accommodation Support for GF Strong Patients
The Accommodation Program was created to support patients who reside outside the lower mainland to allow an immediate family member to visit during their rehabilitation if paramount for their recovery. The program is designed to support those who have limited funds and whose family would otherwise not be able to visit without financial assistance. We wish we could help everyone, however, as a not-for-profit, our funds are limited, therefore we ask that you please be mindful when applying to BC Rehab, as there is much need.
